How to start
First off, enter the desired URL into the special field in order to check the backlinks.
Then specify the type of analysis:
- Domain – backlinks for all the website pages will be shown.
- Exact URL – backlinks for the specific website page will be shown.
Once you’ve selected the type of analysis, click “Get Backlinks”.
Choose which backlinks to download:
- only unique domain backlinks.
The number of the backlink reports available for download per month depends on your subscription plan. Each report that exceeds the limit costs only $1.
After you specify the domain (or URL) and click “Get Backlinks”, the analysis will start. When it’s over, you will see a list of backlinks with brief information.
At the top of the page you will find general information about the number of:
- found backlinks;
- unique referring domains:
If you’ve selected “Load all backlinks”, the number of found links and unique domains will be different. And if you’ve selected “Load unique domain backlinks”, the number will be the same.
- Dofollow/Nofollow links;
- unique referring IPs.
You can find the table with a list of backlinks and brief information below.
1. The list of backlinks for a given site.
2. Backlink status:
- found on the page (may not be found when updating the report);
- nofollow and noindex, or 301 redirect is used (if yes, it’s displayed in red next to the link status);
- link is blocked from indexing in the robots.txt file.
3. Destination URL – the website page the backlink directs to.
4. Anchor text.
5. Domain trust according to Majestic ranged from 0 to 100.
6. Date the backlink information added on.
7. Date of the last check.
Using the filter settings, you can view and export only the backlinks that match the set parameters. The “Parameters” button is placed both on the page with the backlinks list and brief information, and on the page with the complete analysis.
If necessary, you can delete separate filters or all of them at once.
To select which columns to display or hide from the table, click the “Columns” button.
When exported, this filter will allow you to download a table with the selected columns in the .XLS format.
Check all backlinks parameters
A complete backlink analysis starts running once the initial backlink compilation has been completed. To start the analysis, hit the “Check all parameters” button on the page with the backlinks list.
The complete backlinks analysis is a chargeable service regardless of the subscription plan. Before the check begins, you will see a pop-up message with the cost for completing the analysis.
After confirming the analysis, all the pages linking to your site will be scanned. Each link will be analyzed for the following parameters:
- Google index;
- Alexa rank;
- MOZ DA rank;
- anchor texts;
- external links;
- domain trust by Majestic;
- backlink found date;
- social popularity.
You can export all data about backlinks both on the page with the backlinks list and brief information, and on the page with the complete analysis.
You can also export the table by going to the backlink selection box and clicking the “With All” tab and “Export to XLS” or “Add to the project”.
To transfer backlinks to your project, you have to create a project for the same URL that was used to get these backlinks.
