Google Looker Studio (GLS) is a free online tool that lets you visualize data, create various reports and dashboards. The integration is available in Pro and higher pricing plans.

The SE Ranking Rank Tracker connector is a GLS connector that enables you to visualize the organic and paid ranking data of any site from your SE Ranking projects. Additional information on GLS connectors is available here.
How to activate the SE Ranking Rank Tracker connector
1. The SE Ranking Rank Tracker connector can be found via search among other Google Looker Studio connectors, or you can simply follow this link. Next, click the 'Create Data Source' button.
2. After that, you need to authorize your Google and SE Ranking accounts. Click the 'Authorize' button to activate the connection.
3. Allow the connector to access your Google and SE Ranking accounts by clicking ‘Allow’.
4. Configure the data source by selecting the necessary parameters for your project. All available parameters can be found in the next section below.
How to set up the connector
Fill in the connector fields to add the report type, website, keyword group, tags, and keywords themselves to GLS.
1. Report Type
Selecting the data group that you want to get reports on is the first step and is also a required settings option. One of the following options can be selected:
- Rankings Overview – an outline of ranking positions along with keyword data from organic, paid, and Google Maps results.
- Detailed Rankings – a detailed ranking report that includes the last 7 checks from the selected time period.
- Average Rankings Chart – the arithmetic average of keyword positions for a search engine or site.
- Traffic Forecast Chart – projected monthly traffic based on rankings and search volume.
- Search Visibility Chart – percentage of impressions the site gets for tracked keywords.
- % In TOP 10 Chart – percentage of keywords ranking in the top 10.
The ranking charts display data for a maximum of 180 days.
2. Project
Choose a project from the dropdown menu.
3. Search Engine ID
Copy the numeric ID from the ‘se’ parameter in the Rankings filter (e.g., 200).
4. Keyword Group
Select a keyword group.
5. Keyword Tags
Enter tags separated by commas.
6. Keyword
(Optional) Enter a single keyword for a focused report.
7. Click ‘Connect’ in the upper right corner.
What parameters can be included in the report?
To work with a connected data source, use the Create Report or Explore tabs.
The Overview tab allows selecting and configuring parameters to visualize data.
You can create reports and dashboards using the following parameters:
- Keyword: Search query
- Search Engine: Name of the search engine
- Group: Keyword group
- Tags: Tags separated by commas
- Landing Page: Target URL
- SERP Features: Special SERP results
- Matched SERP Features: SERP features your site appears in
- Volume, KEI, CPC, Competition: Keyword metrics
- Total No. of Results: Search result count
- Organic Ranking: Ranking in organic results
- Organic Ranking Dynamics: Ranking trend
- Paid Ranking: Google Ads rankings (if enabled)
- Maps Ranking Found: Where position was detected (organic or Maps)
- Maps Ranking: Position in Google Maps (if enabled)

Please note: The data required to generate a report can be transferred from the connector’s cache. For this reason, the data in the report may differ from the data found in SE Ranking.
