Connect SE Ranking to Google Data Studio

Availability: Google Data Studio integration is available on Core, Growth, and higher plans.

It is also available on Pro and higher legacy plans.

Here you can connect your SE Ranking projects to Google Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio). Each connection creates one data source with one report type.

Step 1. Authorize the connector

  1. Open the SE Ranking Rank Tracker connector.
  2. Under "Data Studio requires authorization to use this community connector", click Authorize and choose your Google account.
  3. Under "SE Ranking Rank Tracker requires authorization to connect to data", click Authorize and sign in to SE Ranking.

You only need to do this once.

Step 4. Set the optional filters and connect

You can narrow the data with these fields:

  • Search Engine ID – the ID of the project (for example, site_id-9925349). Leave it empty to get data for all search engines.
  • Keyword Group – the name of a keyword group.
  • Keyword Tags – tags separated by commas.
  • Keyword – a single keyword.

Note: You can find the ID in the address bar when you open your project's Rankings page in SE Ranking. Copy the part that starts with site_id-.

You can find keyword groups and tags in your project's Rankings → Detailed report in SE Ranking.

Next to each field, you can select Allow "…" to be modified in reports. This lets report editors change the value from the report without editing the data source.

Keep Use report template for new reports selected if you want to start from SE Ranking's ready-made report. Then click Connect in the upper-right corner.
