The Content Idea Finder tool will help you quickly generate content ideas for your website. It can analyze a keyword most closely related to the topic you want to write about and uses the information contained within that keyword to create a group of relevant keywords that you can use in your new article. You can also use these ideas in the Content Editor when creating a new article.
What the tool returns
A Content Idea Finder report gives you three things for the topic you enter:
- Keyword clusters — groups of related keywords built around your topic, with the total number of keywords, total search volume and average keyword difficulty for each cluster.
- Related keywords inside each cluster, with search volume, CPC, competition, keyword difficulty and SERP features.
- Headlines — the titles of the pages currently ranking in the top organic results for the cluster keyword.
Please note: Content Idea Finder does not return a list of questions or a ready-made FAQ. If a keyword triggers a "People also ask" block in the SERP, you will see that as a SERP feature flag on the keyword, but the questions themselves are not part of the report.
To work with questions, use these tools instead:
- Content Editor — collects questions for your brief (from People also ask, competitors and research) and can generate FAQ questions and answers with AI. See also Content Editor Overview.
- Keyword Research — has a dedicated Questions tab in keyword suggestions for question-based keywords.
Report generation runs in the background, so a new report moves through a queue before it is ready. Exports are available for the full cluster list, for one cluster's keywords, and for one cluster's headlines.
