- In which AI platforms you have a stronger or weaker presence
Topics and prompts
Before analyzing individual prompts, it's important to understand topics.
A topic is a group of related queries that share the same intent or subject.
In addition to overall presence across platforms, AI Search also provides topic-level presence, helping you see:
- The most popular topics in your category
- How your presence benchmarks against competitors within each topic
From topics, you can dive deeper into specific prompts for detailed analysis.
The Prompts tab includes two levels of analysis:
- Topics — grouped queries (high-level view)
- Prompts — individual queries (detailed view)
Overlap filter
Use the Overlap filter to refine analysis:
- All – all topics
- Shared – topics where you and competitors appear
- Missing – topics where competitors appear but you don’t
- Unique – topics where only you appear
How to use it for competitive gap analysis
- Start with Topics to find important areas
- Apply the Overlap filter to spot gaps
- Open a topic and review Prompts
