The Dashboard is the summary view of a project — every headline metric, plus a preview of each deeper section. It is also the screen most agencies show clients, so it reads top to bottom.
Table of contents
Filters and date range
Five controls sit across the top of the screen and apply to everything below them.
- Date range — with period comparison — for example Last 7 days vs Previous period. Pick a preset or set custom dates for both the period and what it compares against.
- Topics — narrow to one or more of your topics; the badge shows how many are active.
- AI engines — tick any combination of engines, from one to all five; the badge shows how many are selected.
- Location — shown for reference — a project tracks one location.
- Brands — All brands, or Tracked brands: your own brand plus the competitors you track.
The header also shows when the next check is due, for example Next check: in 4 days.
The headline metrics
Five figures run across the top of the dashboard.
- Visibility — how present and how prominent your brand is in AI answers — mentions weighted by their position in the answer.
- Share of Voice — your share of the conversation against the competitors you track.
- Avg. position — where your brand appears in the answers that mention it. Lower is better.
- Net sentiment — the share of positive mentions minus the share of negative ones, from −100 to +100.
- AIO Presence — the percentage of your tracked prompts that triggered a Google AI Overview block.
Each tile has an ⓘ tooltip, and once history exists, a change indicator against the previous period. Full formulas are in the SE Visible FAQ.
AIO organic overlap
Beneath AIO Presence sits AIO organic overlap: how many links from Google's organic top 20 for a query also appear inside that query's AI Overview. It is a count of shared URLs, not a measure of how often a domain shows up.
It answers a practical question — whether the pages winning your AI Overviews are the same pages already ranking organically, or a different set entirely. A low overlap means AI Overviews in your market are drawing on sources your organic strategy does not touch.
Visibility by brand
A trend chart of your visibility over time, with tracked competitors plotted alongside. The Competitors table beside it ranks the same brands by Visibility, Share of Voice and Avg. position.
- Switch the chart between Visibility and Avg. position.
- Group the timeline by day, week or month using the D / W / M control.
- Hover any point to read every plotted brand's value for that period.
- Clear Display competitors to plot your brand alone — useful when presenting to a client who only wants to see their own line.
- Download the chart from the icon in the widget header.
Visibility by search engine
The chart plots all five engines over time; hovering a point shows every engine's value for that day. The table beside it lists Visibility, Share of Voice and Avg. position per engine.
Being strong in one engine and weak in another is normal, and the spread is often wide — this widget is where you decide whether to defend the engines you already lead or invest in the ones you do not.
Sentiment
A donut showing the Net sentiment score, with the positive / negative / neutral split beneath it and how many sentiment-bearing mentions were analysed. Sentiment is calculated separately and does not affect your Visibility score.
Sources and top prompts
Two preview widgets sit at the bottom of the dashboard.
- Sources — the most-cited sources for your prompts, with a Domains / URLs toggle, each source's Coverage, and how many AI answers cite it. View all opens the full Sources section.
- Top prompts — your highest-performing prompts with their topic, Visibility, Avg. position, top mentions and Net sentiment. See all opens Prompts.
Exporting what you see
Individual widgets have a download icon in their header. Export is currently per widget in CSV — there is no PDF export yet.
For recurring client reporting you have two better options: give the client view-only access to their own project, or connect SE Visible to Google Data Studio and build a dashboard that refreshes itself.
