What happened?

Google periodically rolls out updates without advance notice. When this happens, it can create temporary fluctuations or gaps in the data reported across SEO platforms. This is an industry-wide dynamic that affects every company operating in the search ecosystem.

You may notice a decrease of number of results in search output for keywords tracked across Europe and MENA region. We are actively working on finding a solution to restore position tracking depth to 100.

How is SE Ranking addressing this?

Our team is actively monitoring these changes and allocating additional resources to respond quickly. We are also implementing active solutions to maintain data stability and minimize disruption until we manage to get parsing speed back to normal.

When will this be fixed?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide any estimates. When Google makes significant changes to the way its SERPs are delivered, we have to re-develop large parts of our parser to reliably retrieve all the SERP data while ensuring the data is accurate and consistent.

The amount of time required to make all the necessary changes is hard to predict in advance so we cannot commit to any timeframes. However, we are going to treat such incidents as our highest priority and commit all available resources to developing a solution as soon as possible.

What should I do to get correct data?

You can manually launch position re-check to try to retieve correct data

You can subscribe to Status Page updates to get notified when the issue is fully resolved and correct data becomes available.

How often will this happen?

While we cannot predict when the next update is going to be released, we can commit to two things: moving quickly to protect data integrity, and being transparent with you throughout the process.
