Editing a search engine

With SE Ranking, you can track rankings in Google / Google Mobile / Google Maps / Yahoo / Bing / YouTube (in hundreds of countries and languages) from any city or zip code.

Adding a search engine

Specify the search engines and regions while adding a new website (creating a new project). You can add up to 5 regions per website.

To add a search engine and region to an existing project, go to Settings → Search Engines. Also, you can select the language of Google’s interface. Note that rankings for different interfaces vary.

search engines

Google Map results

If you want to include Google Maps results, toggle the corresponding option on and fill in the company name and phone.

Search engines map

To count organic and maps’ results separately, toggle the corresponding option on.

In this case, you will see two numbers in the rankings table (if there are results in the Google Maps block).

Featured Snippets

If you want to see the Featured Snippets Box on the first position in the organic SERP, toggle the Include Featured Snippets option on. In this case, if your site is ranked both in the Featured Snippets Box and on the 8th position, the 1st position will be displayed in your project ranking results.

Include featured snippets

Google Ads results

You can track paid rankings of your keywords in the system. To do this, just toggle the Track Google Ads rankings option on. After that, you will see both organic and paid results in the Rankings section.

To check Google Ads rankings, you have to specify the city/zip-code.

Editing a search engine

To edit search engines in an existing project, go to Rankings → Settings → Search Engines. Here you can add or delete a search engine.

Add search

Make use of the settings button (Gear icon) to manage preferences for every search engine:

Search settings

Under settings, you can change the region, interface language, and include Google Maps results (if any).

alertIf you delete a search engine/region, the corresponding ranking history will be deleted as well with no option of recovering the data.
