With this integration, you can automate projects in SE Ranking without writing any code. The Project API lets you update data in real time, run checks on demand, and keep projects synced with your other tools. To connect, make sure you have a valid SE Ranking Project API key.
Step 1: Get your SE Ranking Project API key
- In SE Ranking, go to Profile & Preferences > Settings > API.
- Generate an API Key and copy it.
- Only one Project API key is available per account.

Step 2: Open Make and create a scenario
- Sign in to Make.com.
- Click Create a new scenario.
- Add the SE Ranking app:
- In the search module, type SE Ranking Project, then select the SEO Project (Project API) modules from the SE Ranking app.
Step 3: Connect Make to SE Ranking (Project API)
- In the first SE Ranking module, click Add (or Create a connection).
- Enter a recognizable connection name.
- Paste the Project API key you generated in SE Ranking. (Expected format: 40-char hex. Example: 253a73adxxxxxxxxxxxxxx340aa0a939)
- Click Save to authorize.

Troubleshooting
- Confirm you’re using the Project API key (not a Data API key).
- Check if your plan includes the Business with Project API.
- Regenerate the key if it’s invalid or revoked.
- Network/timeout: Re-run with retry; check Make’s execution logs.
